An expansion of the existing hotel complex is imminent in the Göttingen area. The area includes three independent building complexes from different construction phases as well as a central, large asphalt parking lot.

The rear complex houses the main building with a reception area, hotel rooms and a small dining area. The second complex contains another guest house, while the third building complex houses the former large catering area.

The goal is to create a harmonious and uniform hotel complex and to make routes more efficient for both staff and hotel visitors. The design envisages the integration of a modern new building that merges as an ensemble with the existing buildings. The aim is to create new public spaces and strengthen the connection between the individual buildings. A new, identity-creating entrance building between the two existing buildings will representatively connect the complex.

The design maximizes the built area of the hotel complex, creates additional hotel rooms and at the same time integrates a new space for hotel guests. The central and barrier-free cube acts as the first point of contact with reception, café/bar and restaurant area. The former catering complex will be converted into contemporary boarding houses. The now continuous hotel complex combines the building, master plan and landscape design in a harmonious overall concept. The focus is on integration into the existing environment, while the system invites you to be discovered little by little.
